Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Spiciness Level: 2/7

So simple, even a pepper could do it…

  • 15 Golden Cayennes
  • 1 Cup Vinegar
  • Pinch of Salt

  1. Chop cayennes delicately. Because they are made of gold you'll need a rare knife material. 24k don't mess around bruh.
  2. Blend it all up real good like and slap it into a medium saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. That's it. It's basic. Like, pumpkin spice latte basic.
  5. Bottle it up and enjoy!

When we say this is a basic recipe we truly mean that this is a basic recipe. Not much going on, just some salt, vinegar and peppers. The OG recipe for hot sauce, it’s great to use on anything really. It’s a cayenne so it’s lower on the heat totem pole, but this same recipe could be used with just about anything. Now for our very complicated recipe display.

topped golden cayennes from fartley farms

While the end result is a little more gross looking than the beautiful golden cayennes themselves, we weren’t about to spend an hour de-seeding the peppers. Another way to combat this is to toss in yellow sweets or use a yellow bell pepper to get better color without sacrificing much flavor or heat.
