Kill Sauce – Fresno Hot Sauce Feature

Pepper-focused and pepper-forward, Kill Sauce is a brand of sauce that is focused on the dystopian future where peppers and sauce have become the main form of currency.

Fresno Hot Sauce

“The quintessential breakfast hot sauce made with sweet fresno chilis. Easy on the palate with an emphasis on vibrant flavors and freshness.”

A bright red, the Fresno Hot Sauce follows the same formula as most of the other sauces from Kill sauce. Big focus on peppers, with some friends riding along, because when you roll with the Habanero Cartel, ya gotta roll deep. The Fresno pepper was one of the first low heat peppers we ever tried to make sauce with, and Kill Sauce presents it well in this hot sauce.

Ingredients: Water, Fresno Peppers, Red Bell Peppers, Onion, Habanero Peppers, Distilled Vinegar, Garlic, Brown Sugar, Salt, Xantham Gum

With a clear label and a masking-tape-like feel from a design standpoint, it’s clear that Kill Sauce wants you to see the sauce inside. Not overly processed, but smooth to the pour, the consistency is everything a craft sauce should be. Xantham Gum is used to prevent separation and thicken slightly, but it doesn’t take away from the overall niceties of the sauce.

Kill Sauce Hot Sauce Lineup

Each bottle is named purely for the pepper contained within, for example:

Carolina – Pomegranate, balsamic vinegar, and Carolina Reapers.

Thai – Mustard, sesame oil, Thai chili peppers.

Ghost – blackberries, raspberries, pomegranate, and, you guessed it, ghost peppers.

Other sauces include jalapeño, habanero, and Smoke. All sauces are between $8.00 and $10.00 on killsauce.com.

About Kill Sauce

Distributed by the Habanero Cartel, but who is the habanero cartel? No one is completely sure. Founded in 2013, Kill Sauce is up to 7 sauces and water. Located all over the united states, but primarily in California and New York.

Their motto is “Use liberally; live longer” which is either a threat, or a nod to the health benefits of peppers, or both!

Based out of LA, Ryan Demirjian took his family’s love of peppers and converted it to bottle form. Similar to most folks starting out, it was small batches initially, but once he saw people were really loving it, Kill Sauce grew to be a bigger thing. Thinking from a dystopian standpoint where peppers are currency, and giving his brand a Hollywood spin, Kill Sauce was born.

Created in 2013, Habanero was their first sauce, going for “pure flavor out of each pepper” and setting the foundation for every sauce to follow after that. Similar to our Fartley Farms hot sauces, there’s a focus on not making anything too complicated. After all, if the peppers are the true stars of the show, why would you want to take anything away from that?

“What started as a highly classified experiment in a small kitchen between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 am, has now embodied itself as the ultimate palate stimulator. Kill Sauce is loaded with heaping doses of peppers, garlic, spices, and masochism, to acheive the perfect culinary blend of pleasure and pain. Armed with only the most natural and clean ingredients, Kill Sauce is the definitive enhancer to virtually any food or war. Bottles are shipped with unbounded calibers for easy access. This is Kill Sauce. Use Liberally. Kill Responsibly.”
