Darn Milennials And Their Avocado Hot Sauces
Green sauces with an avocado base? Definitely sounds like something I could spread on some toast. The sauce comes from Kumana and is “inspired by a beloved Venezuelan staple, traditionally drizzled on grilled meats, sautéed vegetables and regional sandwiches.” What do you think, would you try it?
Event – Fiery Foods Show Starts Today In New Mexico
To start, we are jealous of anyone that is in New Mexico because they’re not dealing with the gross cold weather of Ohio, but further, we’re jealous they’ll have a chance to hit up the 31st annual National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show. The festival runs from today through March 3rd and will feature so many sauceers, like Hoss Soss, PuckerButt Pepper Co, and fiery pride of Columbus – CaJohns Fiery Foods to name a few. We will sit back and watch the hot tweets roll in.
Don’t Fear the Reaper Meat Tube – Aldi Brings Back Hottest Sausage
Looking to spice up your summer cookouts? Well look no further than this sausage pack from Aldi’s. Oh, you also have to live in the UK, where you can get them for £1.99. The sausages are 100% pork and pack a huge punch. Reviews are mixed with some calling it rubbish and others claiming they regretted it the next day. When will we see the Specially Selected Grim Reaper Sausages in US stores? Unknown, but if the McDonald’s spicy chicken sandwiches only being in Canada was any indication, it won’t be any time soon.
Event – London Gets A Major Hot Sauce Festival
Hot sauce makers from across the pond are rejoicing as the Hot Sauce Society, “London’s first festival dedicated to the iconic condiment, hot sauce” will take place April 13, 2019. Touting 30+ independent hot sauce makers including Disco Hot Sauce and Chilli Arts & Crafts, this is shaping up to be an awesome one-day event. Franks Red Hot is sponsoring the event and admission is completely free all day.
