Spicy Nuggs Make a Return At Wendy’s

They’re finally back! Wendy’s has shown us mercy and will finally be bringing their spicy nuggets back to all locations…but when they will do so has yet to be determined. Insider information tells us that spicy nugget sales made up about 3% of all nugget sales when they were on the menu, leading Wendy’s to pull it from the menu as it was not economically efficient. The return was kicked up by Chance the Rapper getting 2 million likes on an affirmation saying: “Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.” I suppose you could say Wendy’s took a CHANCE on their fans.

Spiciest Dish in Columbus – Tweeter’s Chicken Crib

We went to Tweeter’s in Dublin, OH to see what all the hype was about with the Devil’s Breath wings. While they may not be as spicy as they once were, they still pack a decent wallop. Tucked into a little strip mall area, it’s a great go-to for fast wings at tenders at a great price and 18+ sauce and rub options.

Grateful Dead Hot Sauce on Kickstarter

A new hot sauce is on Kickstarter this week with a Grateful Dead theme. Marla Simon is looking for backers to help her mass-produce Scarlet Fire, with bottle art by Phish poster artist Jim Pollock. It’s unclear what peppers are used in this one, but if you’re looking to back a hot sauce, Scarlet Fire seems like a safe bet.

Carolina Reaper Rolled Ice Cream

Snobachi is trying to make you dance to a song of ice and fire with this one. This week they introduced the Reaper Roll which is just their rolled ice cream with some crushed up Carolina Reapers and Mad Dog 357. Their claim is that if you can eat it and keep it down, you win ice cream for a year, but something seems fishy about that. We were unable to acquire additional details, but are skeptical as the article mentions Mad GOG 357 (not a thing) and says the ice cream measures at 9 million SHU (highly unlikely). Something’s not adding up in Historic Ybor City.

CaJohns Z Nothing Beyond Hot Sauce Review

This week we tried the Z Nothing Beyond hot sauce from CaJohns, an extract sauce made with a 4 million SHU extract and about a thousand fruits. While the fruitiness seemed to be non-existent, the heat was definitely there. Regrets? No. Pain? A little. Watch the full review now!

Darn Millenials Making Sauce Popular

It’s the darn millenials! When they’re not spending all their money on avocado toast, they’re out being picky about what sauces and condiments to use. We’re joking of course because without millenials being selective when it comes to what they spice their dishes up with, the hot sauce industry would be a bit more boring. Keep on keepin’ on and stay spicy out there.
